How It Works

Preferred Resumes offers superior professional resume, cover letter, and biography writing services. To complete the sign-up process, please follow these steps:

  1. Select the service/services you require from our list of services. We have described each service in detail so that you'll know what to expect from us.

  2. Proceed to checkout and provide the information requested.

  3. Once we process your order, we will email you a questionnaire designed to elicit information that we will use to create your resume, cover letter, and/or professional biography. Provide as much information as possible. The questionnaire consists of questions regarding your qualifications, experience, and relevant accomplishments. At Preferred Resumes we scrutinize such information to highlight individual qualities and skill sets that will appeal to employers.

  4. A first draft of your resume will be made available to you within five business days once you have completed our questionnaire and uploaded any relevant documents. Turnaround time for each subsequent revision is two to five business days. You will have the opportunity to work with your writer on unlimited revisions through our message board and database for up to three months. You can work with Preferred Resumes's writers on a one-on-one basis until you are completely satisfied with the finished product. We are not happy until you are!

  5. You will receive your enhanced resume and/or cover letter by email. You can even request an ASCII version.
